Resolution approving the recommendation made by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure that the concrete portion of Kentmoor Dr situated East of Whitewood Dr, and beginning at the intersection of Whitewood Dr and ending at 117 Kentmoor Dr at the termination of this Easterly block, should be paved with asphalt in accordance with Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh City Council by Ordinance 42 of 2018 amended Section 417.06 of the City of Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances to require final legislative approval of City Council should the Director of Mobility and Infrastructure recommend asphalt paving of a street that is currently brick, block stone, wood or concrete; and, 

WHEREAS, Kentmoor Dr from Whitewood Dr to 117 Kentmoor Dr is currently concrete, and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure recommends that such streets have an overlay of asphalt; and, 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh wishes to advance the paving of the concrete portion of Kentmoor Dr from Whitewood Dr to 117 Kentmoor Dr with an asphalt overlay as recommended by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure; 


Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows: 

Section 1. The Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is authorized to pave the concrete portion of Kentmoor Dr from Whitewood Dr to 117 Kentmoor Dr with an overlay of asphalt.
